It's a flippin' good day!

Can I please get a huge WOOHOO! It's Friday friends and that means the weekend is sooooo close. Today I decided to link up with two great gals (Nicole and Amanda) for what they call Flip On, Flip Off Friday. Basically you give props to the things that are great and then you flip off the not so exciting parts of you week. Let's get to it!

FLIP ON!
...to this beautiful weather IF has been having. Keep it up!

...to having the entire month of July with zero traveling for work!

...to Lane Frost who installed an AC in our bedroom.

...to Magic Mike coming out today. It's going to get even hotter in here! (De-lish!)

...to having motivation to cook dinner.

...to having a fantastic boss that I can laugh at and with about the stupidest things.

...to my car Clark. He's getting old and I'm so grateful he's still chugging along.

...to the idiot boy who decided to race his crotch-rocket then crash in front of the office. (why is that a flip on? Well I got to use my medic skill on that dummy)

FLIP OFF!
...to all the people who run by my office and look as if they are gliding along.

...to my lack of motivation to go to the gym. I'm lost without my workout partners.

...to my cat Charlie. QUIT PUKING ON THE CARPET!

...to the stupid people who decided to light off fireworks in the mountains causing the massive wild fires that people are fighting.

...to ex wives who ruin my friends lives. You're ridiculous and should just shut your face!

...to sissy-poo being the 1%. Give her a break, she deserves to have a normal life.

...to my undecorated house. It feels so blah but I don't have the moo-lahhhh to decorate at this time.

...to the idiot boy who decided to race his crotch-rocket then crash in front of the office. (no need to show off on this street, it's all old folks that live here.)

That's it for now. If you want to link up with these ladies for Flip On/Flip Off Friday they would love it.

Have a great weekend friends.

Peace out!

Trippin'

I've been uber busy my friends. Honestly I must admit, I still could have made time to blog. When I got back from Cape Cod, I had one week to get ready for one of our most intense trainings that our company puts on. We had so much to do. I had a lot of materials to ship and next thing I know it was time for me to fly to Denver. This time we headed to Boulder, Colorado for a week of training a variety of people who are involved with HazMat in some way. Due to the intensity of this class, I really don't mingle with anyone because they have homework and to be frank, I have no idea how to calculate the half live of cobalt-60. Unfortunately I was sick the first day and it was miserable. I contracted some sinus thing after suffering from allergies for the past few weeks. After that I felt better. The weather was a-maz-ing! We were located near the Boulder Reservoir and I just wanted to go sit on the beach to soak up some much needed sun. Work must come before play time. When Friday rolled around, class was out at 11:30am and my flight didn't leave until 10pm. Go figure...who booked that? HAHA! I did make a plan though. Most of you don't know this but I was born in Denver and spent a lot of summers visiting family and chillin' like a villin'. I had two ideas on how to kill my time. 1. Water World or 2. Denver Zoo. Because the water park seemed a bit more expensive and required more time, I opted for the zoo. To be honest, I just wanted to go to the zoo. Dad was once a snake handler there so I had to check out the old stomping grounds. Well my friends, not much has changed. I went with another man I work with and we proceeded to name most of the animals and question why random birds were placed with exotic deer or even the cape buffalo. Here are some random things that were discussed and then some pictures.
1. Birth control: yep I typed that...the children there were crazy psychos who should have been caged.
2. Max: the rubber tree my parents donated to the bird house.
3. The lack of "natural habitat" the animals had.
4. Why there were a lot of bunnies in with the gorillas...I mean a lot of bunnies!!
5. Multiple "I remember this"
6. The smell
7. Why they thought it was a good idea to have hundreds of "kissing bugs" when they are extremely deadly.

And a lot more randomness but it's a little boring so I'll show you all some pictures.

 Yes...Mark is SUPER tall!
I however, am not that tall. I would lose my battle with a polar bear.
And lastly, here's a video of my inability to jump.
So there you go. My exciting adventure to the Denver Zoo.

Until next time!

Camp Edwards day 2

Enough said! I just can't understand anyone...

Boston Red Socks...football team?

Hi Friends!

It's Tuesday and slightly warmer for the moment. It's still raining and there is no signs for that sun to shine before I leave. I'm sipping on some delicious Dunkin' Doughnuts coffee hoping to wake up shortly. Last night we ventured into the world of Yelp to find a highly rated restaurant in town. Thai was one of the top choices. I've never had Thai food but why not. I'm not a big fan of curry but not everything Thai includes curry. I tried the wanton soup, some pineapple fried rice, and some Pad Thai. All DELISH! I'd go back there again anytime. We then ventured to KMart because bossman forgot his jacket. After an amazing experience throughout the store, this is what he decided on. Only to then make a comment (a serious comment) about how the Boston Red Socks was his favorite football team. HAHA! I burst out laughing. He is hysterical!

This is the cover of a soap magazine. I saw it in KMart and laughed out loud. I couldn't stop laughing...these are the things in life that make me smile. Only because I know, somewhere in the world someone purchased this magazine and was very upset that Sharon did sleep with Billy. It could have possibly ruined their life. Way to go Sharon, I hope you feel bad. You've pissed off a lot of dedicated fans. (or that's what I am assuming.)

Simply things in life my friends...simple things make me smile!

I hope you all have a great Tuesday!

East Cost time

Sometimes the hardest part about traveling for work is the time change. I'm currently in Cape Cod, MA providing some training at Camp Edwards. We arrived yesterday in Boston and drove down. I packed my shorts and flip flops, ready to enjoy some sun. There is no sun shining in Cape Cod. It's effing cold here! It's raining and the wind is blowing sideways. I even turned on the heater in the hotel room...bummer man. Just when you think you're going to soak up some sun by the ocean, it rains. The time change hasn't quite killed me but it's close. I think after today I'll be okay.
Here's some photos I took so far.
I hope you all had a great weekend!

Moving out!

Wednesday was a big day at the farm. Lane looks forward to this day every summer where-as I get sad when this time comes. Friends, I'm here to say, the cows have been shipped to the mountains. Each summer the majority of the cows get shipped to summer range up in Island Park where they feast on delicious grass. I asked Lane to take some photos for me to share with all of you. I'm sad to see the ladies and their babies leave but there are still a few of my favorite that are here. Helen is here and she's going to have a baby this year. I'm not sure how I feel about that so we will see when that time comes. So here are the photos Lane took. I think they turned out good!
Happy weekend all!
